Perhaps dog whistles are the most primitive items in gundog training. People have been using dog whistles for centuries in training their dogs in doing some tasks. Another problem that primitive dog owners faced was how to keep their dogs disciplined. Of course they gave their gundogs food and they used the dogs’ craving for foods to change their dogs’ behaviour. But still there was a limit. However, there were great dogs and they obeyed their owners no matter what they received by obeying. But normally the dogs’ respond was not up to the mark that their owners expected. Therefore humankind is consistently developing gun dog equipment to train dogs and receive their maximum support in hunting any other tasks.

Today gun dog trainers have a set of highly sophisticated gundog equipment. Dog training is no more a difficult task because they have to respond to their owners’ commands or they will be punished by the gadgets they wear at training.
